Don’t keep an offer or promotion for months, keep it just for a few days. Why? Well because time pressure is a supper trigger.
Here is how you can create such an experiment:
Step 1. Go to “Interactions” on the left side menu:
Step 2. Create new interaction
Step 3. Filter the templates by selecting “Countdown”and choose a template from the list.
Step 4. Choose the On Exit trigger
Step 5. Click on the countdown timer, in the preview window, to open up the editing menu.
Step 6. Click on the Clock icon from the menu to open up the countdown options.
Step 7. Select the type of countdown timer you wish, set the limit and click ok.
Step 8. Choose your “Audience“
Enter the URL of the page(s) where you want to trigger the experiment at “Manage the pages where you want to run this experiment”.
Step 9. Create or select a segment
Step 10. Then, this window will appear:
Step 11. Set up device type segmentation and frequency.
Step 12. Allocate traffic
Step 13. Set up goals
When you click on the red button, this window will show up:
Step 14. Schedule and publish
