    When do you need to follow these instructions?

    If your store uses Online Store 2.0 themes then there is nothing to do here. This article is meant for stores that use the legacy mechanism for themes.

    The Shopify App for Explore will detect if your theme supports Online Store 2.0 Appblocks and will create them. These Appblocks will be removed automatically upon the removal of the app.

    If you are not sure what your theme uses then you can follow this article nonetheless.

    Steps to take before uninstalling the application.

    Remove Omniconvert Explore references from your code.

    Go to your Shopify store and locate the Themes button and click on it.

    Click the “” button and press Edit Code.

    Locate the theme.liquid file.

    Remove this piece of code: {% include ‘omniconvert-general’ %} and press Save.

    Go to Sections -> cart-template.liquid and remove this piece of code: {% include ‘omniconvert-cart’ %}.

    If your store uses Shopify Plus then an additional piece of code has been inserted. Open up the templates/checkout.liquid template and remove this: {% include ‘omniconvert-checkout’ %}

    Open the Snippets folder and remove all files that start with omniconvert-. There should be 3 files for Shopify Plus stores and 2 files for other store.

    Remove Omniconvert Explore Additional Scripts

    Finally, make sure that your Additional scrips section does not contain any leftover code. This is mostly the case of stores that do not use Shopify Plus.

    Go to Settings in your store.

    Press the Checkout button in the menu.

    Scroll down to locate the Additional Scripts section.

    Remove any code inserted manually in the setup process and press Save. The inserted code should look like this:

    <!-- start code -->
    <link rel="dns-prefetch" href="//" />
    <script type="text/javascript">window._mktz=window._mktz||[];</script>
    <script src="//"></script>
    <!-- end code -->
    {% if attributes.mktz_custom %}
    <!-- start conversion goal -->
    var _mktz = _mktz || [];
    var mktzCustom = JSON.parse('{{ attributes.mktz_custom }}'.replace(/"/g, '"'));
    mktzCustom.transaction = '{{ }}';
    mktzCustom.orderId = '{{ checkout.order_id }}';
    _mktz._Goal('sale', '{{ total_price | money_without_currency }}', mktzCustom);
    <!-- end conversion goal -->
    {% else %}
    var mktzCustom = { 'orderId': '{{ checkout.order_id }}' };
    var _mktz = _mktz || [];
    _mktz.push(['_Goal','sale','{{ order.total_price | money_without_currency }}', {transaction:'{{ order.order_number }}'}]);
    {% endif %}
