The bounce rate goal shows how many visitors who were included in your experiment, left the page without interacting with it in any way.

For example: Visitor lands on the homepage -> experiment is triggered – > visitor closes the browser/tab/changes the link manually = bounce

The bounce rate is an inverted type of goal. This means that by default when a user enters your website the action is considered to be a bounce. Only if the user interacts with your page a un-bounce event is sent to our servers and this cancels the original bounce.

It also means that if you see a lower bounce rate in Omniconvert’s dashboard, you should be happy because this equals more engagements from the users.

The engagement goal is enabled by default when you create an experiment, you can see it in the Traffic allocations & Goals section of the experiment editor, by scrolling down.

If you do not wish to track this goal, you can press the Select or create a goal button and uncheck the box next to the goal.

This goal does not require any integration.
