Scroll Goal
Overview
A Scroll goal tracks how far a visitor scrolls down a page. It's a Global goal, so you can reuse it across multiple experiments, and it requires no technical integration to set up.
Creating a Scroll goal

From the left menu, click Advanced, then Goals.

Press New Goal.

Choose a name, description, and whether to allow multiple conversions per visitor session (see below).

Select Scroll as the goal type, then select the scroll value - choose from the existing options, or enter a custom value.

Press Save.
If your experiment runs on both desktop and mobile, the same scroll percentage can mean a very different point on the page for each - mobile layouts are typically taller, so a visitor may need to scroll further to reach the same content. If scroll depth matters for your experiment, consider creating two separate Scroll goals - one for desktop and one for mobile - and naming each clearly (e.g. "Scroll 50% - Desktop" and "Scroll 50% - Mobile") so they're easy to tell apart when reviewing results.
URL Filters (Optional)
By default, the goal registers a conversion on any page where the tracked scroll depth is reached. Add URL Filters to restrict conversions to specific pages only.
Combine multiple conditions using OR or AND, the same way you would in Understand How Segmentation Works - OR requires at least one condition to be true, AND requires all of them to be true.
This section is optional. Leave it empty if you want the goal to register on every page where the scroll value is reached.
Adding the goal to an experiment
Creating the goal doesn't attach it anywhere automatically. In the experiment editor, go to Traffic Allocation & Goals, press Select or create a goal, and check the box next to your Scroll goal.
Single vs. Multiple Conversions
When creating the goal, you can enable allow multiple conversions per visitor session.

Disabled (default) - only the visitor's first time reaching this scroll depth counts as a conversion for that session.

Enabled - every time the visitor reaches this scroll depth again in the same session counts as a separate conversion.
